Messenger was the most downloaded productivity category app in the U.S. for Q2 2019 with close to 15 million installs. The complete best 10 ranking of productivity category apps in the U.S. by downloads for Q2 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Shop Intelligence platform.
Gmail was the second most installed productivity category app in the U.S. final quarter with a lot more than 5 million installs, which represented a 6 % raise from Q2 2018. Google Chrome, Microsoft Outlook, and Google Docs rounded out the best 5 most installed productivity category apps in the U.S. for the quarter.
Shop Intelligence customers can see app download estimates for the above apps in addition to historical efficiency metrics on the Sensor Tower platform. Our estimates include things like downloads for the App Shop and Google Play in the U.S. involving April 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019. Apple apps and Google pre-installed apps are excluded. We report distinctive installs only. Android estimates do not include things like third-celebration shops. Figures represent aggregate installs of all app versions, ex: Facebook and Facebook Lite.
